East Street Extension Tops Frederick road project list
Three Frederick aldermen led a prioritization of city road work, backing East Street Extension from East Patrick to South Street and an East Street link to Walser Drive. They favor rapid start on portions of East Street for Carroll Creek work, and support expanding Monocacy Boulevard to an arterial end at Md 2 with interchanges at Schifferstadt. Planning officials expect state funded projects in five to seven years, with several streets slated for next one to five years.
