FBI says 13 hijackers entered US legally
Ziglar said 13 hijackers entered the United States legally while three overstayed visas and others had unclear lawful status. Officials face identity gaps as they compare names to faces. Authorities heightened security across critical infrastructure and facilities amid ongoing investigations. A Florida anthrax case tied to the American Media building prompted scrutiny, with one death and another hospitalized. Canada likewise rejected transit links to the 19 hijackers, stating no evidence of entry via Canada.
