Fire Prevention chosen in Walkersville pageant
A 20-year-old aburn-haired secretary affiliated with two fire companies was chosen Miss Fire Prevention for Frederick County at Walkersville Town Hall. Amy Snowden of Libertytown, secretary at Walter King Plumbing, won over four contenders and will represent Frederick County next June in Ocean City. Sabrina Riley-Chmelik, 15, was named Junior Miss Fire Prevention. she lives in Libertytown and attends Linganore High School.

Woman, 22, weds alleged abductor in courthouse ceremony
