The Man in the Moon film review by Grace
Film notes Mulligan's The Man in the Moon stars Reese Witherspoon as a 14 year old who bonds with a 17 year old next door, but the film is flat and overly manipulative despite strong acting from Mulligan and supporting cast. The Rapture review finds Tolkin's religious drama uneven yet provocative with Mimi Rogers delivering a standout performance and a strange, haunting ending. The Silence of the Lambs review praises Demme's character work but criticizes the final act and a controversial shift in the killer character, earning two percent stars.
