Attendance marks set as fair closes
The Frederick Fair ended with record attendance on Saturday with large crowds for afternoon and night performances by Irish Horan and his Hell Drivers. Premiums are payable after November 1 and uncollected money is donated after December 1. Officials noted strong concession receipts and a crowded grounds scene despite cooler weather.
