Mrs Corrienne Reily Mason widow of Lambert Mason of Charles Town died yesterday in Washington. Her late husband was an executive of the National Biscuit Company in New York. Funeral services are scheduled in Charles Town tomorrow.
Two Killed In Route 340 Crash Near Berryville
Two youths died in a collision on Route 340 about four miles north of Berryville. John Richard Weir and Franklin Elliott Barkley, both 17, of Berryville, were killed. The truck driver sustained minor injuries and was not hospitalized. The truck belonged to Burlington Mills of Burlington, North Carolina.

Eighteen Inductees Leave For Baltimore For Service
Eighteen men from Selective Service Boards 45 and 46 left by bus for Baltimore for induction into the Armed Services. Several registrants traveled to Baltimore for pre induction examinations. The FBI disclosed a country wide sweep arresting 30 people in 24 hours across New Jersey California Ohio Massachusetts New York and Washington DC bringing total arrests to 120 in two months for stealing government property worth about 1 000 000. Stolen items ranged from rubber and silver to boots blankets guns and air craft radio gear. Arrests include civil service and military personnel and police. Camp Kilmer NJ saw 16 arrests for theft of 46 000 worth of bed sheets. Some suspects aided the sale of stolen goods and large truckloads were moved to buyers in several NJ cities. Mare Island police officials were among those arrested. $4 000 in stolen property recovered there.
