Frederick County Historical Society Work Tells Lions Club

Frederick County Historical Society president Charles F. Bowers spoke to Lions Club members and guests at the Francis Scott Key hotel. Since 1892 the society has grown to 400 members, aims to preserve county history and buildings, and meets monthly October through May. The Taney Home is being prepared for reopening, with county history outlined from 1748 to 1835.
