In Dorado Arkansas on October 10 a deadly street shooting left H S L Dearing Tom Parnell and Wal Parnell dead and three others wounded one fatally. The clash arose after the September 18 Mullens killing, as Dearing and the Parnell brothers confronted each other. The exchange involved seven shots, occurring at close range as the combatants fired until they collapsed forming a cross.
