The first nine years without a Frederick hotel ended Wednesday morning with the opening of a 105 room Fairfield Inn by Marriott on the Westview Corporate Campus off Md 85. J W Bill Marriott Jr. chaired the event as guest speaker. Plamondon Hospitality Associates is the franchisee. The hotel offers an indoor pool, exercise room, continental breakfast, and a meeting room for up to 15.
