Opening Night of Interchurch Mission At Frederick
The Presbyterian church hosted a full house for the opening night of a preaching mission this week led by Dr Arnold R. Ness. The event, sponsored by the Frederick City Ministerial Association, featured pastors from United Reformed, Methodist, Baptist, and Evangelical churches with music by the Trinity Methodist choir. Dr Ohrn, Baptist World Alliance secretary, shared wartime Norway experiences, urging resilience and rebuilding after hate. He cited Norwegians’ faith amid execution threats and a chaplain’s message to families to not seek vengeance but rebuild. The talk noted the U S produces a substantial portion of the world apple crop.
