The Bureau of Commercial Fisheries reports electrical traps in streams feeding Lake Superior captured about 6,000 sea lampreys so far this year. Projections, based on eight years of data, place the 1965 run at 9,000 to 12,000, a drop of over 75 percent from pre chemical-control averages.
