Stock Plan Blocked in Dollings Case Seeks Exchange
The stockholders protective committee of the R L Dollings Company of Pennsylvania faces a halt from the Pennsylvania securities bureau over a proposed reorganization plan for the American Bronze Corporation subsidiary. The plan would issue class A stock and exchange provisions that critics call an evasion of the securities act. The Dollings/Bronze dispute states the indebtedness at $890,000, with receivers placing it at $464,000, while the plan promises reversals and dividends. Earnings cited total $75,000 in 3.5 years, with $400,000 paid in dividends to stockholders, and much of the $3,000,000 stock sale proceeds went to unearned dividends or advances to subsidiaries.
