Man Dies After Accident In Maryland Center
Frank Curtis 7 percent, died at 12 40 p m at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center Baltimore per two hospital spokesmen. Curtis driving north reportedly struck a sign on Md 14 near a Frederick County intersection. Vehicle hit a guardrail then rolled seven feet landing on its front bumper. He was extricated by Mount Airy and New Market rescue crews and flown by state police helicopter. Accident under investigation.

Public support sought for Carroll Creek Park project
Carroll Creek Commission members Tuesday agreed to explore public funding for the park from as little as 10 dollars to as much as 250,000 dollars and to dedicate the effort to reflect community wishes.
