County moves toward fire police radio network
Frederick County Commissioners will install a base station at Central Alarm for a fire police radio network used by volunteers with limited law enforcement powers. The project, costing about 5000 for the base station plus 30 monthly maintenance, requires volunteers to supply mobile radios. The panel also funded Middletown Community Park upgrades, approving a Moore Golf bid of 204,742 plus 15703 sediment control and 976 erosion matting, covering a 79 acre site with budget overrun covered by transferring 5000 from Baslenger Creek park funds.
