Judges Summoned For Kier Murder Trial
In Towson Maryland two judges who presided over Carl Daniel Kier’s first death sentence for the murder of a Baltimore County matron are to appear as witnesses in Kier’s retrial next week in Frederick. Their appearance was requested by defense attorneys David N. Bates and William Murphy. The Court of Appeals last summer ordered the retrial.
