An army bombing plane from Teungley Pleth Va. crashed in woods about 11 miles from Clark's farm near the Defense Highway. One unidentified man died and First Lieutenant R. W. Booker was injured and hospitalized at Fort George G. Meade. The craft bore number 148. two men were aboard.
