Pittsburgh internist to restore Schwab mansion in North Braddock

Dr. Bruce Dizon, a Pittsburgh internist and descendant of Braddock pioneers, plans a total restoration of the 22 room 1890 brick mansion built for Charles Schwab. The Woodland Hills school board will sell the rundown property for 72500. Dizon will invest about 130000 to repair plaster, replace sashes, and add a carriage house. He will live there and do most repairs himself as soot from nearby mills faded its exterior but interior remains grand.
