Fair Condition After Thurmont Car Crash Injures Grable
Willie Elmer Grable, 23, of Route 2 Thurmont, remains in fair condition at Frederick Memorial Hospital after a two car collision on Route 15. Grable’s 1931 coupe was demolished while Sgt Ivan L McCreary 20 attached to Fort Myer Va drove a 1940 sedan damaged about 500. Grable was leaving Martin service station when a parked truck blocked his view and the McCreary car struck his. Grable suffered a fractured skull and cuts and bruises. McCreary was uninjured. Trooper H J Brown continues the investigation and no charges have been filed pending recovery.
