Westminster Mo October 2 Beau regard Williams racing his horse on the street last night and ran into Jesse Stoner's buggy. Williams and a lady were thrown from his buggy and severely injured.

Attorney General Garland dismisses the New York Tribune claim that he instigated a U S suit to test Bell Telephone patents for Pan Electric. He says he knew nothing of any suit during his Arkansas vacation and had no authority to authorize such action. He once owned Pan Electric stock but argues that status should not affect legal rights. decisions must come from the courts.
In Bellville at a seduction case Miss Tha Wibley adopted daughter of J K Mullen had a warrant issued for Geo Rentwiler. Constable Obst pursued him to the Southeastern depot where Rentwiler attempted to escape by boat. A warning shot halted him and bail was set at 1200 dollars. His father stood surety. The pair later obtained a marriage license and wed at noon at Mr Mullen’s residence. Wibley is 22, Rentwiler is the son of a prominent citizen.
A Russian soldier found a tearful five year old girl among ruins after a 1877Turkish town raid. Officers funded her care with 500 roubles and she grew to a 13 year old beauty in St Petersburg. It is hoped she will marry one of the officers who supported her. A telegram from a festive event arrived saying I con my dear uncles heartily.
