Auto strikes man moving family injuring leg near Frederick
Walter Andrews 27 was moving his family when struck by a car on Thursday evening about one half mile west of Frederick. He suffered a fractured leg and was taken to Frederick City Hospital. His six year old son, tossed from a go cart, escaped injury. Driver Lee Gernand of Myersville said bright lights blinded him in rain. he stopped and assisted. No charges filed.
