Wilson limited by ankle in state title bid for Thomas Johnson
Thomas Johnson quarterback Troy Wilson played only sparingly in the state Class A showdown with Northwood due to a sprained left ankle. Coach Lynn Carr said Wilson would be used at quarterback and only at defensive back if needed. Wind hindered passing plans as Wilson, who had 13 rushing touchdowns and over 900 yards in the regular season, tried to contribute.
