Walkersville Ambulance open house dedication Sunday
Walkersville Community Ambulance Service hosts a public open house and dedication this Sunday December 2 to unveil its new building. Oscar Baker will speak. displays include Frederick County ambulances. service began as a volunteer effort with 389 calls last year and 392 this year to date. Mayor and county officials thank volunteers who built the quarters at a cost of 63000 with 35000 debt, and pledge to raise funds for a new ambulance.
