May Grange Inauguration Day Suggests April Last Thursday
Washington November 29 The national committee on a proposed change of inauguration day met to recommend to Congress the last Thursday of April for future presidential inaugurations. The vote was unanimous. The committee includes 33 Washington residents and state governors. Governor Lea of Delaware was the only executive present with other state officials contributing in writing.
