Man jailed for trying to sell son
A Frederick man is jailed on accusations he sold his 15 month old son for a used car and $100, while he denies the charges calling them a mistake. The child's mother Julie Pilafian said she cannot understand what is happening and seeks information. State police traced the claim to a former foster father who said Vogelpohl offered the toddler for trade. Court records indicate the boy was in foster care before returning to his natural parents last summer.
