Crown American Corp plans a 550000 square foot enclosed mall at I 270 and Md 85 south of Evergreen Point with three major department stores and space for 70 satellite tenants. The project covers 208 acres and includes a 90000 square foot related shopping center and a motor inn plus a multi theater. Groundbreaking could occur within 10 days with completion of the first section in Fall 1976. A major department store is committed though tenant names are not released.
