Villa forces clash outside Chihuahua City in renewed battle
At El Paso November 25 Francisco Villa renewed assaults on Chihuahua City but was repulsed as Carranza troops held key trenches outside the city. Reports from Juarez say 400 Villa men were killed or left on the battlefield, while Carranza forces suffered undisclosed losses. Officials deny rumors of troop movements or defections.
