County unveils unified water and sewer billing plan
County officials propose standard countywide rates by 1991, with initial 130 dollar charge set for 1986 and a 216 dollar per year target by 1991 for water and sewer. They expect 17 million borrowings for capital improvements, including nearly 4 million for Lake Linganore projects, while Lake Linganore owners may join later. The plan also adds a new benefit charge for undeveloped lots and will increase hookups to 2000 dollars per household.
