Rome November 2 AP Cardinal Bonzano Apostolic Delegate to the United States from 1911 to 192? died at age 68 after an emergency operation for a stomach tumor lasting two and a half hours. He attended the Eucharistic Congress in Chicago in 1911 and served as Apostolic Delegate to Mexico briefly in 1915.
The funeral for John C Motter who died from pneumonia at Tom Pa Thereday was held this afternoon from the home of his mother Mrs Isaac Motter East Second street. The service was conducted by Dr Henri G Kiefer pastor of Evangelical Reformed Church with private interment at Olivet cemetery. Pallbearers included Warren Farrance Philadelphia Edwin Price Vee Lear Ky Lieutenant Commander Alien G Quynn Jr Annapolis Dr George R Nees Harrisburg Francis J Newtentty Sykesville and John Ed Schell this city.
Anxiety rose as Army radio failed to locate a 13 member film expedition party that left Geew River Wyoming 14 days ago with improvised boats to explore the Colerais river. Led by F E C Lavoe formerly of the US Geological Survey the party used portable radios and was reported missing after four days of contact attempts from Camp Pearson Painted Desert Arizona.
