Bazar at Frederick features concert by Hood College choir
The bazar proceeds open this evening with a concert by a Hood College chorus of about 100 voices directed by Miss Virginia Carty, followed by dancing after 9 o'clock with an orchestra. Admission is free this afternoon and evening to showcase Made-in-Frederick displays. Tomorrow Company B of Hagers Town in blue winter coats arrives in full dress, with about a hundred attendees expected. A doll dressed by Mrs. Phillips Lee Goldaborough will be auctioned in the fancy booth. The Braddock Heights band performed yesterday under Prof. Irving S. Biser. The Maryland School for the Deaf will attend Friday evening to review exhibits.
