Salary fight reshapes Blue Ridge League limits
The Blue Ridge Baseball League annual meeting at Martinsburg West Virginia voted to raise the 1924 salary framework to 2000 per month for teams including half of the manager's pay and a manager cap of 2500 for six months. Officers were re elected and plans for auditing insurance and scheduling were set amid debate over how much to invest in skilled managers to develop young players.
