City plans storage reservoir bids as nine firms visit site
Twenty one bids already submitted will be opened at a special Board of Aldermen meeting next Tuesday at 11 oclock. City Engineer Emory Crum has invited engineers and contractors to the reservoir site to review plans and specifications and more bids are expected before the opening. The 59 million gallon reservoir near Fishing Creek will likely take seven months to complete after work begins.
