Nicodemus Ice Cream Co launches a large housing project opposite the Fair grounds. Ten bungalows on a nineteen acre tract near Patrick Street, Maryland Avenue, Virginia Avenue, and Pennsylvania Avenue are under construction with five rooms and a bath per home and prices at 3500 dollars including water mains electric lines and lot with modern city utilities. Street paving concrete sidewalks and grass plots will be completed as construction proceeds, with completion expected by early February and houses ready for occupancy a month later.
