Montgomery man fined 500 for growing noxious weeds
Montgomery County court in Rockville fined Fayet Hannah 300 and gave 12 months probation with conditions to control Canada thistle on his Cedar Grove property near Md 27 and Watkins Mill Road. He received a suspended 30 day sentence after failing to eradicate the weed, a perennial that infests cropland and roadsides and spreads by seeds and roots.
