Frederick leaders honor Young Gordon at Tauraso's party
About 250 Frederick County leaders gathered at Tauraso's Restaurant Everedy Square on Tuesday night to hear Mayor Ronald Young and Mayor-elect Paul Gordon. Young praised his 16 years in office and the city’s progress while Gordon lauded Young’s accomplishments and stressed a smooth transition. Tauraso hosted drinks hors d oeuvres and entertainment in heated tents, framing the event as a celebration for Gordon and his team though not a farewell to Young.
