Three Injured In Accident At Route 15 Intersection
At about seven this morning a head on collision at Route 15 and the Adamstown road near Buckeys town left three injured. One man, 55 year old Doubs resident Oliver E. Naylor, was unconscious with internal injuries and taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital. Horace A. Mohler 56 of Point of Rocks and Mary Whiten 75 of Adamstown suffered minor injuries and were treated and discharged. State Trooper James Stonesifer said Naylor was southbound toward Point of Rocks while James Whiten 65 was entering Route 15 from Adamstown and turning toward Buckerstown. Mohler was returning home from a road project. Naylor is a railroad employee. Vehicle damage totaled about $75 for the Whiten car and $1 for the Naylor car. Charges will be preferred. The injured were taken to the MLA Etchison and Leon ambulance.

Eight Die In Plane Crash Near Jicin Peak
Eight persons were killed and 18 injured when a Romanian-Soviet Airlines plane en route from Bucharest to Prague crashed on 2000-foot Tabor Peak six miles from Jicin in bad weather.
