Santa Arrives Twice For Frederick Holiday Events
Santa Claus visits Frederick on Friday November 21 at 6 30 p m arriving at the Frederick Towne Mall in a horse drawn sleigh with Mrs Claus. On Friday November 28 at 7 p m he comes to City Hall in downtown Frederick aboard an antique fire engine with a program featuring the mayor Town Crier and multiple choir groups. The mall celebration includes the Frederick High School Band the Christmas tree lighting and a throne appearance near Montgomery Ward's with Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Choir processions begin at 7 30 p m and visit several downtown locations before reassembling at City Hall at 8 30 p m.
