Two Injured in City Auto Collision
Two people were treated for minor injuries at Frederick Memorial Hospital after a crash at Madison Street and Broadway around 12 31 p m. Gloria Thompson 32 of Amstown and Charlotte Thompson 7 were in a car with four other children who were unharmed. Gloria Thompson received arm and back pains while Charlotte was treated for a facial injury. Police said Mrs Thompson failed to grant the right of way at a stop sign causing the collision with Perry Warfield 19 of Last Church Street driving east on Madison Street. Car damages were estimated at 200 and 250 dollars respectively and a light pole was damaged in a separate incident on West Second Street Lindbergh Avenue. Bowers faced reckless driving charges and a separate driver was charged for failing to stop after an accident at West College Terrace.

Actor Roger Barrett Dies of Heart Seizure in Hollywood
Hollywood sources report actor Roger Barrett, 47, died from an apparent heart seizure Monday. Barrett had married actress Jane Russell less than three months earlier after a four week honeymoon and tour of English night clubs.
