Florida church installs non celibate gay Lutheran pastor
In Key West Florida the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church names Arlo David Peterson the pastor on November 11 making him the first non celibate openly gay Lutheran pastor in the state. The appointment challenges church rules requiring celibacy for sexually active clergy and draws rebuke from the Florida Bahamas Synod which could censure the church.
