Frederick County seeks psychiatrist and two social workers
Frederick County Mental Health Services seeks a full time psychiatrist and two additional clinical social workers to ease the load of children’s cases. Director Daniel C. Roff hopes state funds, possibly available by January, will cover about $125,000 to $125,000 for the two social workers and $75,000 for the psychiatrist. The move would increase treatment access to five days a week and expand the Special Education Treatment program adjacent to Rock Creek School, benefiting 14 emotionally disturbed children and 53 sexually abused clients needing specialized counseling.
