Edward Storm, Former Senator and Lawyer, Dies at 103
Edward D. Storm of Record Street Frederick died Sunday in St. Croix at age 103. Born March 1, 1912, he served as Maryland state senator from 1947 to 1955, was a trial magistrate, and later on the Maryland Public Service Commission and Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Commission. He held many civic roles including Emmitsburg town attorney and charter member of local groups. WWII Navy Armed Guard veteran with two battle stars. He is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Griscom Storm, Mary Storm, and Penny Storm Pell. his first wife Mildred Baum predeceased him.
