Medicare outlined to Montevue Auxiliary members
Wilber Dunn explained Medicare eligibility to Montevue Home Auxiliary members at their meeting, noting anyone over 65 may apply whether or not they have Social Security. Applications must be filed by March 31, 1966, and information on amendments and hospital and medical insurance is available at the Hagerstown Social Security office. Hospitals and nursing homes must meet Health and Welfare standards to be paid under the program.
