Rothenhoefer Voices Concern Over Court Rulings
Frederick County State's Attorney Robert Rothenhoefer warned Thurmont Lions Club members that recent Supreme Court rulings show a growing trend of invalidating voluntary confessions and creating a divided court. The Thurmont meeting at Cozy Restaurant included new member inductions and holiday fundraisers for community projects. Luke, Md. AP reported a later Local 676 contract vote affecting about 1,950 workers at the Lake plant and plants in Covington Virginia and Williamsburg Pennsylvania.
