Smash-Up Near Gallatin Injures Seven People

A crash at Dortistons, seven miles from Gallatin, Texas, injured seven people during a public baptising. Rev. John Gillam and family were en route when Dr. A C. Bryant's buggy collided with Gillam's barouche, throwing occupants including Mrs Gillam, Arthur Gillam, and Rev Gillam. Horses bolted, crowd scattered, several vehicles wrecked, and injuries ranged from broken arm to head wounds.

Remarkable Yet Unsuccessful Nose Pin Surgery Debacle

A five year old boy in Rockville suffers after a safety pin lodged in his nostril is pushed through during surgery. Doctors attempt to remove the pin fails as it migrates behind the right eye. The child remains critically ill as physicians labor to save him. Montgomery County grand jury reports twenty two indictments across eight days.
