Frederick Christian Academy Opens Expanded Frederick Campus
Last year the Frederick Christian Academy opened on North Market Street in a renovated building. This year the school added a ninth grade and plans further growth as needed. An open house invited guests to tour facilities and discuss the school’s Christian education approach and smaller class sizes. Board Chairman Lee K. Smith Jr. led the meeting with officers and new board members Dr. Neil Cornelius Wayne Tucker Calvin Stambaugh and principal Carl Chewning. Smith described the academy as an alternative educational system and urged public awareness of its objectives.
