Mr and Mrs Charles Eccard of Rt 1 Smithsburg were guests of honor at a surprise 25th anniversary celebration hosted by their children Paula and Sylvia Eccard and Dale Miss It at Garfield United Methodist Church on Sunday Oct 19. About 80 friends attended. Mrs Dorothy Brown of Waynesboro Pa baked the cake. The couple wed in Hagerstown on Oct 21 1950 with Rev Albert Snyder officiating.
