Wedemeyer Book Claims FDR Provoked Japan War
A Washington book review discusses Wedemeyer’s claim that FDR deliberately provoked Japan into attacking the United States to drag the U.S. into World War II. The volume mocks Churchill’s strategy and argues a 1943 British and American buildup in Britain could have pressured Germany earlier. The author also critiques Allied campaigns and foresees Soviet dominance if U.S. and British plans shifted.
