Frederick County appoints Soil Conservation District supervisor
Harry W. Fouche of RED 6 Frederick was named a supervisor on the Frederick Soil Conservation District. County Commissioners announced the appointment Monday. Three of the five board seats expire this week. two vacancies will be filled by nominees from the County Extension Service and the Farm Bureau. The State Soil Conservation Committee will select one of three nominees from those groups to complete the five member board.

N Wilson Schley vice president of Farmers and Merchants National Bank marked his 85th birthday on November 12. One of the oldest bankers still active in the state he began work April 15, 1907 and works five days weekly.
