Fine And Costs Suspended At Trial In Maryland Court
Sherman M Jones of Frederick was found guilty on a rear light charge but fines and costs were suspended by Magistrate Manuel Weinberg in Peoples Court this morning. Trooper William Mutchner arrested him on Route 340 near Jefferson on November 1. Two other cases were dismissed. several collateral for speeds over 50 miles per hour were set at 26.45 each. Arrests were by Trooper Mutchner.

Hit Truck Of Dynamite But I Didn't Explode
Berkeley Springs W Va Nov 16 A dynamite truck explosion near Greensboro Pa killed the driver and wrecked nearby buildings. A collision on U S 522 last week sent a car into the explosives but the dynamite did not detonate. Mrs Russell Steiner and her daughter in Hancock Md were hospitalized. Aaron Steiner’s two children were uninjured. Roland Kemp Richardson of Anacostia DC was convicted for driving while intoxicated and fined 100 dollars with six months in jail, plus possible charges for destroying public property after a jail scuffle. Thomas Huston of Signal House Pa drove the dynamite truck for National Power Company and had paused 25 feet off the highway to nap.
