West Virginia auto crash verdict verdicts in Fowler McConville case
Damages of 525 were awarded to the plaintiff in a Camden County automobile collision suit arising from a Braddock Heights to Winchester trip. The trial before Judge Newman heard Mrs Dora Fowler and four other occupants discuss speeding past a bunting decorated school truck on a curve. Key witnesses from both cars described varying speeds and passing maneuvers, with Fowler later dying and McConville not present at trial. The jury found Fowler at fault for alleged high speed near a truck with schoolchildren and ruled the other drivers carried the burden of accident causation.
