Iraq agrees to inspections without conditions
Iraq will permit UN inspections to resume at suspected weapons sites with no conditions, according to UN envoy Prakash Shah. He noted Baghdad sent a letter to UN Chief Annan stating Iraq will cooperate with UNSCOM and IAEA, potentially averting threatened U.S. strikes and military buildup in the Gulf.

Turtles Find A Tremendous Helper In Local Professor
Frederick Community College professor Richard Gottfried has rescued and relocated about 300 injured turtles since the early 1980s. He spends around 1600 dollars yearly on care, driven by the belief that rapid development in Northern Virginia harms their habitat. He gathers strays, takes them to veterinarians, and releases them back into the wild to give back to creatures losing their environment.

On Monday the Weinberg Center for the Arts in Frederick hosts filming for Barry Levinson's Liberty Heights with 500 actors and a 159 member crew.
